Featuring the vocal talents of Stallionslaughter
"What if Celestia wasn't immortal? What if she was afflicted with something she had no hope recovering from? How would Twilight handle it?"
lyrics
Verse 1:
Oh, God, it’s finally happened to us
You took a chance that would make you suffer
A means to an end; beliefs unforgettable
You put on a front, but your pain’s undeniable
Listen to me, as I lament how things could be
To bring you back to your former health and set you free
I am so selfish to wish this hurt on someone else, but I can’t help my desire to heal you
Chorus:
I've known you now for so many years
The kindred spirits that collapse my fears
As a teacher took me under your wing
you've taught me so many, so many things
And I know they'll
never get the bond that we held
But promise me, promise me
Promise that you won't forget me
Verse 2:
Lies,
they all keep saying
that you'll be fine
but, Their eyes are blind
They're scared
of the truth,
But Who wouldn't be
Honestly
All I know's
This curse
(It's burning down the bridge we made)
I've got it under control,
so just
(listen to me)
I've got no time to waste
So, let me tell you all the things
That I meant to say sooner
(Thoughts Run Through my Mind)
I’ll put your mind at ease and explain
The cost has taken a toll
Just be
Strong for me
as I fade into nothing...
Architects Breakdown:
I can't feel anything
My words seem forced and
Everything’s not okay
Tonight...
I meet your withered stare
I couldn't believe it,
Can’t bring myself to admit it
Prechorus:
No, I can't admit it
Because, I just can't allow myself to accept it
Life seems to last for just an instant
Chorus:
I've known you now for so many years
The kindred spirits that collapse my fears
As a teacher took me under your wing
you've taught me so many, so many things
And I know they'll
never get the bond that we held
But promise me, promise me
Promise that you won't forget me

Stallionslaughter - Harsh vocals, rewriting some lyrics, putting up with my pickiness
Awesome album from start to finish. PW's destinctive style is present throughout, but every track is a fresh effort, and the album successfully transitions from driving rock to mellow contemplation without sounding forced or rehashed. I'm not as big of a fan of the remixes, but I appreciate their inclusion and unique perspective. Hard to ask for more than 16 tracks with no skips! theCANderson
